When Emet-Selch arrives at the castle, Arthur is seated at a round table, speaking to some kind of adviser standing nearby, and handing back signed papers. Busy man. ]
Come in.
[ He says it when he sees Emet-Selch at the door, whether he's hesitated or not. ]

Your M-- King Arthur, I have come with a confession to make. It concerns the spirits recently let loose.
[ He can't make himself speak humbly but he can be polite. ]
I am so sorry I didn't realize how long it had been between health issues and catching up.
Any information you have would be welcome. What is it?
no worries!
'Twas I and three others who were responsible for opening a way between Avalon and the other side. A man by the name of Ardyn tricked us into a ritual to revive one he claimed to be his brother...but it let through far more than a single spirit. I won't shy away from any punishment you may deem appropriate, but I would ask leave to slay the one responsible first.
[ Honestly, he plans to kill Ardyn with or without the king's permission, but he's well aware of his past transgressions. ]

You have done much to become a better man than you once were. I know as well as anyone that it is not impossible to have a veil pulled before your eyes, both in and out of this world of fae and folklore. That said, it would be irresponsible of me not to ask the names of the others involved. I have no intention of imprisoning anyone, but I do wish to offer counsel. [ Like, professional counseling. ] I think you and I both know the guilt that comes with a mistake like this, I would not be doing right by anyone to let those involved steep in it.

I would give their names if I knew them. That man, Ardyn, recruited all of us separately and I did not think to ask who they were. I remember their faces though. If I find them, I can direct them to you.
[ Assuming the wraiths haven't done for them, that is. ]

[ If you're doing something as substantial as raising the dead, maybe getting the names of the people you're doing it with is a good tell for whether or not you're doing something legitimately, he thinks, but Emet-Selch feels bad enough. No sense in rubbing it in. ]
I'm sure they will in time, too.

Then if I may depart, I would find this Ardyn again before he can cause more strife.
(ooc: With agreement from the player, Emet will manage to find Ritsuka but she will end up too busy to visit. He does pass her name to Arthur though. The other player did not respond to my message so I will assume Emet could not find them.)
