Character name/Journal: Irhya Pendhula omnicrafter Creature: Mini Amaurotine Thread/Date:here
Brief description: "Who's a little one now?"
The mini Amaurotine is a recreation of one of the Ancients, complete with white mask and nondescript, dark-grey cowled robes. It cannot speak and has no independence, but it will offer comfort in the form of gentle pats when it senses its owner is unhappy or distressed.
Character name/Journal: Anastasia Steele girlofsteele Creature: Phoenix Thread/Date:here
Brief description: The phoenix is a mythical Eastern bird possessed of miraculous healing powers and the ability to revive the dead. However, it is a little known fact that the origin of this myth arose from an accident in creation: a masterwork from the Words of Lahabrea which fused with a distressed soul as its researchers pored over its concept. Unable to die, the tormented creature dashed itself repeatedly against the halls it was kept in until Emet-Selch sent the soul to its rest. This phoenix is a smaller, pet-sized recreation of that selfsame bird in all its elegance and glory - but thankfully, none of the regret.
It possesses the ability to self-rejuvenate and, by its nature, can also emit minor flames from its beak. Unlike the phoenix in modern myth, it will NOT burn itself up into ashes and be reborn upon the end of its life, nor will the faint sparks which seem to leap off its red-gold plumage start spontaneous fires.
Character name/Journal: Felih Tia seasoflight Creature: A pair of betta (fish) Thread/Date:here
Brief description: The first creatures Emet-Selch created upon experimenting in Duplicity. The fish are simple things and have only the basic capability of spraying others with water and can swim through the air as easily as if it were the sea. They are roughly the size of a house cat or smaller dog - perfect for patting (or even cuddling).
