The MANTA Board is posted every month, but the quests are on a "2 month cycle." This means quests can last for two months with possible updates or new additions in the second month before it completely refreshes for the next cycle. Players can do older quests so long as they did not have some kind of resolution or time limit on them.
Quests are separated into five categories and all have flat point values: General (4pts), Corsair (4pts), Paladin (4pts), Bounties (6pts), and Specials (12pts). Crew quests are listed under "Specials" and are worth the same amount of points (12pts). Although these quests are intended for established crews, non-members are allowed to assist if the crew invites them. However, non-members would only receive 6pts. Similarly, characters helping opposing armada quests will only be rewarded 2pts for participation unless specified otherwise. Special quests won't always be available so it may appear blank at times. These can range from group quests such as for special ship upgrades or island related quests, or they could be special event quests. All quest points can be used for the Rewards Shop.
If you wish to submit a quest, comment in the appropriate field during Activity Check with the quest written and we'll add it to the next month! Crews are also still allowed to make their own quests without our approval, but if uncertain players can comment here about them.

it's a new year! and people usually have goals, dreams, for the new year, right? so, tell me! we can help each other make them come true! that's what we're doing at home, my crew. we all have our dreams. like luffy wanting to be the pirate king and find the one piece, the treasure that gol.d. roger hid. or nami wanting to make a map of the whole world. sanji wants to cook with ingredients from all the different oceans. and i want to be the best doctor in the world, so i can treat anyone who needs help. so this year, i want to keep learning more about the diseases here as well. keep learning about illnesses from everyone's homes that might need treating here. what about you guys?

EXTRA FIELDS: This is not required and completely optional, but included in the submission form are two optional fields: Extra and MANTA Board Posting.
For the Extra field, this is just a space for players to note anything that occurred in their threads that they think might be fun for us to know. So if something particularly interesting happened (for example: discovering a new creature or location, an old artifact, or perhaps a character has stolen something), we highly encourage players to jot them down! Who knows, we may even find a use for it… In addition, we may ask players to submit certain activity related to an event.
You may also submit MANTA board requests to be included in the upcoming board. We will try to add them immediately, otherwise we'll save them for the next Board or a time we deem fitting. If you don't have one in mind at the time of AC, you can post it later to the upcoming Captain's Log announcement.

[It's that wonderful, magical, beautiful time of year, isn't it? There's wonder and kinship and love in the air. The spirit of giving is abundant. It's truly the most wonderful time of the year, isn't it?]
[And no holiday season would be complete without some old person very loudly and publicly complaining about it.]
[Eggman appears to be sequestered away...somewhere. Where it is, it's dark and the only lights are from screens he's cobbled together and there's a perpetual sound of grinding metal somewhere in the background.]
[He looks...annoyed.]
From whatever empirical evidence I can gather, this time of year is supposed to be heartwarming. I'd like anyone out there to properly explain, within provable parameters, preferably with citations and sources to back your theory up, how that's even remotely possible.
[He takes a long, pointed sip of coffee from a new mug that he's very deliberately pointing towards the camera.]
And yes, I said "theory." I won't even entertain the notion of a hypothesis because I refuse to believe that any insight any one of you festive fools can conjure has the potential to be tested in any way that matters.
And before any one of you decides to present some sort of faith-based angle for this disgusting display of mirthful misery, I am going to assert that you stow it.
I'm eggnostic for a reason.

Player Plot: Alien world conquering plot in 2026
Hello!! Taisa here to throw out a plot I'm planning to work towards in 2026. It'll likely occur sometime in Summer/Early Fall next year, but I wanted to get some feelers out to start working towards the event, as someone, or a group of individuals can offer themselves to be the instigators of what's to come.
