At some point during the debates - if such a word, beloved by their people, could be applied to the arguing on the network, - Hythlodaeus couldn't take it anymore. Hades's grief, anger, disappointment - and the way he only drowns himself in all those things further, throwing himself deeper into rage and despair. There is nothing to be gained from these exchanges, Hythlodaeus knows, and so after a little while he makes his way over to Hades's side, resting a hand on his shoulder.
