Having nagged his friend into doing an open advertisement, Hythlodaeus of course spent the next few hours glued to the screen, going through the reactions gleefully. Unfortunately, one particular conversation did not go quite as planned...
He'd started giving Hades concerned glances even early on, but the argument did not seem to abate at all until that seething remark from Darin, leaving the two Ancients in bitter, stunned silence. To think that a mere hour ago there had been such sense of peace and comfort in their new home...
But it is once again the nature of their people to stand together. If Hades would break off the conversation, too pained to go on, Hythlodaeus is more than happy to pick it up - and perhaps even persuade Darin otherwise. But first things first.
