G’raha finds himself staring at the letter for a long moment, wondering just who helps themselves to their friend’s food without even thinking to ask? Other than, apparently, Hythlodaeus. He takes a good long moment considering whether to answer this completely honestly or not, and apologise for the deliberately miserable excuse for a gift, before deciding not to. After all, the gift hadn’t been for him!
And so, Hythlodaeus soon receives a reply from crystarium.
Dear Hythlodaeus,
I must apologise. If I had been aware my gift was to be shared, I might have spared a little more effort. A single sandwich is scarcely an adequate gift for two.
That being said, I thank you for the advice, for I have little expertise in culinary pursuits and would indeed care to learn more. It was a skill I neglected until quite late in life, I fear. I had thought to make a common snack food from my youth, but found myself quite lacking in the necessary skill to make it. Perhaps another time.
Sincerely, G’raha Tia
He wonders, vaguely, if Emet-Selch will see this letter... and whether or not he would realise he is referring to Sharlayan food. It does have quite a reputation, after all.
