The request is unexpected, a contrast to Hades's gentle touch, and it certainly gets a reaction out of Hythlodaeus. There's a sharp intake of breath against Hades's neck and then he bites at it - still obviously loving, only the slightest touch of pain, but Hythlodaeus is very intent on leaving a mark - and not just one but many more, to the point that Hades would have to count himself lucky that in winter it's normal to cover one's neck.

Hythlodaeus works his way to his friend's throat, working the skin with his lips and teeth, lapping briefly at the marks he leaves, then raises himself up a little to take in the view, eyes half-lidded with desire and a self-satisfied smirk on his face.

"Well, now... Was that why you were so unhappy about being chosen for the office, Hades? Do you prefer to be led?"

Hythlodaeus grins, leaning in closer again, brings up a hand to trace his thumb along his friend's lower lip.

"I wonder if you would have dreamt of being taken by me back then, had you but known how I feel... A late night at work after a very stressful day, no one left at the Bureau but us..."

Though Hythlodaeus's voice is teasing, it's not unkind in the least - not mocking a possible fantasy of his friend's, but more proposing a mutually enjoyable scenario.
