Hythlodaeus's breath catches in his throat at the proclamation of affection--and much like Hades, he is so much more drawn to genuine emotion. The pleasures of the flesh have a lot to say for them, certainly, but... they could never compare to this much more deeper, much more intense kind of love.
He makes a soft noise as he returns the kiss, just as passionate as his friend, almost desperate with it, and when they part he presses his forehead against Hades's, tips of his fingers still stroking through the man's hair, a deep, almost reverent longing in his eyes.
"...Of course you can have me, you fool," he whispers softly. "How am I meant to be without you? I love you, Hades. Moreso than I can express, especially in this pitiful state."
A small huff of half-laughter, half-frustration--though he doesn't truly hate it as such yet, being so bereft of their usual abilities is annoying at best, especially right now. But they are not here to dwell on the darker parts of their new existence, nor can Hythlodaeus even spare actual thought for that right now, not with Hades in his arms... and so he seals their lips in another kiss, slow and heartfelt, hands roaming down his friend's body--and when they part again, he barely gives Hades a moment of respite before gently pinning him down to the bed, eyes fixed on the other man.
"Hades... Agesandros. How would you have me prove my love?"
theyre both banished
