He does take it--only to set both the condom and the lubricant down on the bed by his side, choosing instead to draw Hades into another kiss - deeper, more insistent this time. And now that both his hands are free, Hythlodaeus makes good use of them, threading his fingers through Hades's hair, his other hand tracing down the line of his neck, to the shoulder, then down to the chest - and here Hythlodaeus switches from the lighter touch of his fingertips to full contact, feeling his friend up properly. Then slowly lower, down Hades's abs--and then off to the side. It's likely intentionally teasing.

Hythlodaeus finally breaks the kiss, gently nipping at Hades's lower lip for good measure, draws back just enough to give himself space to catch his breath and give his friend a trademark smug look.
