He falls in towards Hythlodaeus. Though their disparate heights is a small irritant, it's a comfort now to be able to lean in and rest his head upon someone else's shoulder. His fingers curl into Hythlodaeus' sleeve, gripping tight. He almost feels like crying again.

After aeons alone, aeons fearing judgement, it feels too good to be true. It's not forgiveness (something he neither wants nor expects) but it is a level of kindness the world seems to have forgotten.

"...Very well," he says quietly. "I will not run from your judgement, whatever it may be. Even should the stars themselves fade, I will remain by your side. We shall tread the same paths, share in the same fate, and work to restore our world together."
